Welcome to the new j2kArcLib.info. Based on the Drupal CMS, this site will enable world-wide collaboration on the adoption of JPEG 2000. Features include a resource list taxonomy in which projects, software, and services can be placed, RSS syndication feeds for much of the site's content, and personal blogs for discussing JPEG 2000. Coming soon is a mailing list, upload area, and other features.

What a Clean, Well-Lighted Place!
If there is interest out there, I will be happy to supply a number of sample JPEG 2000 images we (Library of Congress Preservation Directorate) have created over the last several years of our JPEG 2000 evaluation. We have focused on the kinds of things that libraries want to deliver in quality & quantity, including photographs, scanned microfilm images, etc.
We will also be happy to assist in encoding images sent to this site.
